Hey! I'm Jazmin Noble, a student in Mr. Manuel's Period 2 class. This project is my Lane Sorter — a program that places runners into the correct lane based on how fast they ran their event.

The program supports both the 100m and 200m sprint events. It uses if/elif/else logic to compare a runner's time and assign them to a lane — fastest times go to the center lanes (4 and 5), and slower times move outward toward lanes 1 and 8.

The most challenging part was getting all the if/else conditions right so every time range maps to the correct lane. I'm most proud that the whole program actually runs and gives a real result — something you could use at an actual track meet!
